New Hampshire has no general sales tax, so a normal vehicle purchase has no buyer sales-tax calculation.
Title and registration
The calculator includes the $35 title fee effective in 2026 and estimates the state weight fee plus municipal permit based on original MSRP and age. Additional municipal, plate and prorating effects can change the total.
Worked example
A current-model-year vehicle uses an $18-per-$1,000 municipal permit rate on original list price, plus the state weight-based registration fee.
